Positive Paths, A Center for Foster Care Alumni, is a drop in support and resource center in Richmond, Virginia for youth transitioning out of the foster care system, as well as young adults that have aged out of foster care.  Positive Paths is dedicated to providing these youth with the vital life skills to be independent, productive, and prosperous adults.

Our services include a Foster Care Alumni Support Center and the “We Are Well” Empowerment Circle. The Foster Care Alumni Support Center provides access to a technology lab, resources, referrals, life skills assessments, monthly workshops and specialized programs to youth and young adults from 16-25 years of age. Youth who have left or are aging out of foster care often find themselves alone in the real world without any support network. The Foster Care Alumni Support Services provide these youth with the vital life skills to be independent, productive, and prosperous adults.
